MEN'S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Men's basketball league will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the High School Main Gym or Middle school gym between 8-10PM.

ZUMBA PlUS
The Zumba-program fuses hynotic Latin
rhythms and easy to follow moves to create
a one-of-a-kind finess program that will blow
you away. Half Hour of Zumba and Half Hour of Abs
and Booty Floor Work.
Eligibility: Pelham residents 14 & older

MEN'S SOFTBALL LEAGUE
The Pelham Recreation Department sponsors a Men's Softball League for Pelham residents. Season begins the last week of April and ends the first week of August. Games are generally played on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 pm at Glover Field, participation is on a team basis. The Organizational meeting is on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:30 pm in th Guild room at the Richard J. Daronco Town House.

WOMEN'S SOFTBALL LEAGUE
The Pelham Recreation Department in conjunction with the Eastchester Recreation Department sponsors a Women's Softball League. Season begins the last week of May and ends the second week of August. Games are scheduled Mondays through Thursdays, either at Glover, Ingalls or Eastchester Fields from 6:30 - 9:00 pm. Participation is on a team basis.

WOMEN'S TENNIS LESSONS
Tennis lessons for beginners wil take place at Glover Field Tennis Courts.
Eligibility: Pelham Ladies Ages 17 & Up
Location: Glover Field Tennis Courts

Fee: $75 (4 lessons, once a week)

TENNIS COURTS AND PERMITS
Tennis Permits will be available at the Recreation Department starting April 1st either in person or by mail. The Glover Field and Julianne's Playground Tennis Courts will be open May 1 through October 31 and Tennis Permits are required. Guest passes are now required for all resident or non-resident players. Guest passes may only be purchased by permit holders.

2012 Application for Tennis Permit:
1) All applicable areas on face of Application must be completed; the Code of Sportsmanship and Hold Harmless Agreements must also be signed by each adult and each child under the age of 18 by each parent.
2) Photo I.D. (Valid NYS Drivers License) for each Permit Holder 18 years or older. Junior permit holders must submit school I.D. cards.
3) Cash or Check for the appropriate fee made out to “Pelham Recreation Department”.
Note: Permit can not be issued unless all of the above have been completed.
Reservation Procedures:
1) Telephone reservations will be accepted at the Recreation Office until the day prior to the day of play. Weekend or Holiday reservations must be made by 3:30pm on Friday, or the day prior to the Holiday .
2) Telephone reservations must be accompanied by the permit numbers of all players covered by the reservation. Note: For inclement weather call 738-6644 to check that courts are open.
3) Permit Reservation holder have priority after which courts are on first come first serve basis.
4) Residents may reserve and play for only (1) court hour per day. Reservations are on the hour for singles. Double play (4 people) 1 ½ hours.
Player Responsibilities:
1) Sneakers and shirts must be worn at all times.
2) Players should not use abusive language or disturb one another while game is in progress.
3) Players waiting for the court should remain outside the fenced playing area.
4) Players must show tennis permit card and give passes when asked by court attendant.
5) No smoking, drugs, alcohol, or pets on school property!
6) Young children accompanying a player must be kept outside fenced court under supervision.
7) At no time will private lessons be conducted on the courts.
8) All litter must be put in trash baskets
9) Reservations will be held 10 minutes past the hour Scheduled. Should scheduled players not arrive within the grace period; the balance of the court time will be given to waiting players.
10) There are police phones at each site that have a direct line to the Police department in case assistance is needed.
11) When “RED FLAG” is posted the courts are CLOSED.
WOMEN'S OPEN VOLLEYBALL
Pelham women are invited to participate in pickup, non-competitive Volleyball games at Siwanoy Gym on Tuesday nights from 7-9 PM. Sneakers must be worn.

Weight Watchers has come to Pelham. Meetings will be held weekly in the Main Room of the Richard J. Daronco Town House as follows:

PROGRAMS FOR THE DISABLED
Enjoy Socials, Bowling, Music, Swimming, & much more. The South East Consortium for Special Services is dedicated to providing recreation programs and leisure services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and special needs who reside in member municipalities. Transportation will be provided to and from all activities. Please stop by the Recreation Department for a brochure or call 738-0153 and we will send you one.

SENIOR CITIZENS
All Town of Pelham residents (60) years and older may participate in the many activities, meetings, special events and trips sponsored by the Recreation Department. The seniors meet weekly on Monday afternoons at the Richard J. Daronco Town House, 20 Fifth Avenue from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
