Pelham Recreation is offering an indoor "Quickstart" Tennis for children at each elementary school.

RUGBY
Children & Teenagers are invited to learn and play the exciting, international game of Rugby in a safe and fun-filled environment. The basics of Rugby are taught while playing Flag Rugby, a non-contact form of the game. Tackle Rugby is available to all those interested ages 11 and above.

PELHAM RECREATION SPRING SOCCER
Pelham Recreation Soccer pre-registers for its Spring season. Programs will be available for Grade 2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, and Grades 7-10. The program will consist of mid to late afternoon Saturday practices followed immediately by a game. This is typically a two hour program; we try and schedule it so it doesn't conflict with Spring sports such as Basketball, Soccer and Lacrosse. We recognize in the Spring those sports will take precedence for children and in the event of conflicts they often attend their other sports, but they can still play Recreation Soccer. AMERICAN GOJU KARATE

THEATRE ARTS
This acclaimed program encompasses a large volume of fun drama activities aimed at increasing, self-esteem, and verbal skills of all students. Euthusiastic participation is encouraged at all times and students present short, scripted production at the end of each session for parents and friends. BOYS AND GIRLS ELEMENTARY FLAG FOOTBALL GRADES 4-5
Each elementary school will field a boys and Girls flag football team for grades 4 & 5. This will be a formal league comprised of at least four teams and at lleast one for each elementary school. The teams will each have a coach and the Recreation Department will provide officials. Basic skills will be demonstrated, as well as an attitude of good sportsmanship. Practices will be held two or threetimes a week from 3:15-5PM at your child's respective school. Games will be held Fridays and / or Saturday, times and location TBA.

BOYS AND GIRLS ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL GRADES 4-5
Each elementary school will field a boys and Girls basketball team for grades 4 & 5. Each school's team will compete in a round robin tournament. Boys and Girls haveseparate leagues and games will be played weeknights. (Mon-Thur) at the Hutchinson Gym and Main Gym at the High School. The season will begin in January. You must register in advance.

This will be a formal league playing a complete schedule of games. All teams will have an adult coach and maybe an assistant. formal pre-season practices will be held by each coach to help develop your son's basketball skills. Practice times and locations will depend upon the availability of the coach.

Pelham Recreation is offering a new program for 3rd grade boys and girls who are interested in learning how to play basketball. This clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, passing and shooting. Sportsmanship, learning the game and having fun is also stressed at the clinc.

ROWING
The Pelham community Rowing Association provides high quality rowing instruction and opportunities for competitive rowing residents of Pelham and lower Westchester County. Programs include learn-to-row classes, intermediate classes, and masters and competitive master programs. There is a youth team for high school students. There is also winter rowing machine (ergometer) training

TEEN CENTER AT THE YMCA - GRADES 6-12
We are pleased to announce thatm in conjunction with the Pelham Recreation Department, the New Rochelle YMCA (50 Weyman Avenue) has opened its doors to our teen center once a month. Transportation to and from the YMCA is provided by Pelham Recreation or parents may transport their own children. At the "Y", Pelham teens can enjoy basketball, swimming, racquetball and cardio-room. The "Y" is open to only Pelham youngsters on this night.
